Shift the transfer point to a more suitable location.
Plant a mini forest to restore walkability and prevent waste or fire from reaching the road below.
Site context
The site was empty until late 2019, when it became a transfer point. MLA Rizwan mentioned a space to shift the transfer point to a different location 3 - 4 years ago, but it has not been materialised so far.
Issues
Waste tipping often spills onto the road, spreading garbage across the area, making it dirty and unhygienic.
Garbage is dumped at the site and sometimes set on fire, creating hazards for vehicles below.
Waste attracts dogs and other animals.
Walking is also dangerous and uninviting due to high vehicle speeds, the lack of footpaths, poor lighting, garbage, and dogs.
