Reviving a defunct junction into a pedestrian sqaure with paved cobblestone floor and integrated lighting to celebrate the Garuda statue and foster local community gathering.
Site context
The site is a public space in Mahalakshmipuram located at the intersection of Pipeline Road and 14th Main Road. Positioned within a dense urban fabric, this underutilised plot serves as a critical neighbourhood edge that currently suffers from neglect but holds significant potential to be transformed into a high-impact community node.
