Site context
This strategic edge is situated at the bustling intersection of Dr. Puneeth Rajkumar Road and 1st Main. Adjacent to a major BMTC bus depot and a key Rajakaluve in Banashankari, the site serves as a vital transit-adjacent node with significant potential for pedestrian-centric social infrastructure.
Issues
Once a notorious black spot for illegal dumping, this recently cleaned site remains defunct and risks regression. Overgrown vegetation, unregulated parking, and broken footpaths render it inaccessible. Despite high traffic, the lack of lighting, seating, and basic amenities forces pedestrians into chaotic traffic, denying residents a dignified, safe space to wait or socialise.
