Importance of the site

HAL 2nd Stage is a well-established residential layout with a diverse population including families, working professionals, elderly residents, and homemakers. However, despite the density and vibrancy of our community, we currently lack a dedicated space for public gathering, wellness activities, social events, and indoor recreation. This proposal outlines the urgent need to develop a Small Recreation cum Community Building within the layout that would cater to the evolving needs of our residents—especially senior citizens, women, children, and welfare groups.

Proposed idea / vision:

We propose the construction of a Small Recreation cum Community Building on available BBMP or civic land, which will include: A Multi-purpose Hall (capacity: 50-75 people) Yoga and Wellness Room Ladies Rest and Activity Zone Reading/Quiet Corner with accessible seating for aged people Attached Washrooms and Basic Storage Provision for rainwater harvesting and solar power for sustainability Community Impact and Benefits: Target Group Benefit Senior Citizens Safe indoor space for socializing, light exercises, and health check-ups Women/Ladies' Groups Dedicated space for self-help group meetings, training, wellness activities Children Venue for small workshops, indoor learning or cultural events General Residents Common area for town halls, RWA meetings, celebrations, awareness sessions
