Importance of the site
The location of this space adjacent to the nala and the presence of an open space in proximity to a organic, dense residential fabric with total absence of open space creates an opportunity. Further, adjacency to a high traffic road with congestion junctions creates an opportunity through this space.
Proposed idea / vision:
The edge of the site can incorporate a BMTC bus stop thus reliving the regular congestion that happens at the adjacent crossroads. Creating an open, public space would be an essential component to address the basic need of the surrounding neighbourhoods. Further, this space connects to a larger ground on one side and the other side being the nala, this space can temporally respond to changing contextual conditions.
