Importance of the site

It form an important connection between the majestic bus stand, the KSR railway station and the majestic metro station. If mainatined, it is a great way for pedestrians to use. Unfortunately, the place is taken over by shops and has seen many incidents sch as fires, flooding during monsoon and creates an unsafe environment.

Proposed idea / vision:

Potential interventions could be shading over the over pass an alternate space for the sellers to clear out the underpass Drainage systems in place appropriate lighting and surveillance to make the space safer artworks or additions within the underpass to make it livelier and less like the start of a haunted passage.
