Site context
The pipeline road passes through Balaji Layout, which has over 6,000 residents. A participatory consultation on the draft design has been completed, and residents' feedback has been incorporated.
Issues
A fence and dense weeds in the pipeline buffer form a physical and visual barrier between the east and west neighbourhoods.
The limited and narrow break points in the pipeline area often create blind spots for both vehicles and pedestrians.
The pipeline area has been converted into parks in neighbourhoods to the north and south, but not in Balaji Layout.
