The site comprises a 1 km stretch of Wheeler Road Extension in Cooke Town. It serves as the main access route for the neighbourhood and includes several important amenities.
Issues
This stretch faces several persistent challenges: inadequate street lighting, safety concerns, broken and uneven footpaths, encroached footpaths for parking vehicles and blackspots.
Excessive vehicle speeds also create unsafe conditions for pedestrians walking or crossing the road.
