Priority Interventions

● Remove or clearly designate parking zones around the park ● Enforce the no-vending regulation by removing all vendors from the park edge ● Introduce traffic calming measures to reduce vehicle speeds

Site context

Coffee Board Layout Park is a key neighbourhood green space, frequented by residents. The adjacent road is commonly used by children for play and cycling, and the park is flanked by two schools on its eastern and western edges. Traffic volume has recently increased due to the road’s connectivity to Manyata Tech Park.

Issues

● The southern edge of the park has been overtaken by vehicle parking and vendors ● Food trucks and seating fully occupy footpaths, blocking pedestrian access ● Children playing and cycling face safety risks from fast-moving traffic
