The site is a residential connector. This stretch serves as a primary access route for hundreds of local families, yet lacks basic pedestrian safety features to manage the daily flow of residents and local transit.

Issues

• Lack of continuous, well-levelled footpaths forces pedestrians into the main carriage way, creating significant safety risks during peak hours. • Inadequate street lighting and poorly managed road edges make the stretch hazardous for children and senior citizens after dusk. • Overgrown vegetation and accumulation of roadside debris further narrow the usable walking space, discouraging non-motorized transport.

Priority Interventions

Implement high-quality, continuous footpaths and integrated vending zones to eliminate encroachments. These measures will secure pedestrian safety, improve sanitation, and reclaim the street as a dignified, walkable neighborhood link.
