The site is located on the eastern side of a 450-metre stretch of Dr Vishnuvardhan Road, adjacent to vacant land. This road serves as a major traffic corridor, linking the neighbourhood to NICE Road in the north and Mysore Road in the south.
Issues
●The edge of the vacant land is overgrown with weeds and scattered with garbage. ●The area is considered a black spot, making the new footpath unhygienic and unusable. ●Inadequate street lighting contributes to safety concerns.
Priority Interventions
●Install fencing along the site and clear legacy waste. ●Install pedestrian street lighting. ●Create a protected cycling lane.
