Site context
The site consists of 28 segments of conservancy lanes (mapped so far), spread across Malleswaram. Under the Walkable Malleswaram Project, a few conservancy lanes have been repaved, cleaned, and activated, demonstrating the potential for a larger conservation effort.
Issues
The prevalent issues continue to be garbage dumping, encroachments by parking, a general lack of maintenance and hygiene across the lanes.
Priority Interventions
Rejuvenate the entire network of conservancy lanes as safe and inclusive spaces which are multi-functional and usable for the community in a variety of ways.
