Site context
The site features a traditional katte (raised stone platform) situated along the pedestrian path leading to the Sri Ananda Lingeshwara Temple. Traditionally serving as a communal gathering spot and rest area for pilgrims, this space holds significant cultural value.
Issues
The katte is in disrepair; parts of the stones are collapsing.
The back side of the site appears to be dug up and has garbage dumped there.
There is also a temporary tent setup in the katte that needs to be regulated to ensure no long-term encroachment.
The hill is part of a sacred and historic temple dating back to the 13th Century.
