The site is an empty land that was once a spot for food vendors. Around the site, several housing complexes house a large elderly population. There is a growing trend of elderly people in the neighbourhood, with families living outside thecity or the country. Loneliness is a major issue. They don’t have enough social spaces in the vicinity to get out of their apartments and interact with other people. The interventions include:

• Landscaping and seating spaces 

• Vending zone for food stalls on the streets 

• Footpath improvement for the access roads 

• Junction improvement, adding pedestrian safety infrastructure
