Importance of the site

Richards park being a heritage zone is the heart and soul of Richards town community, there is already existing activities, such as walking, badminton, karate classes, jogging takes place around the park, with better safety provisions and design some of the negative activities that take place can be avoided.

Proposed idea / vision:

Richards town has the highest number of senior citizens, who use the park extensively for their exercises. Due to the presence of large trees, the pathways are uneven and broken in several places, thereby creating unsafe walkways for the residents. Enhancing the accessibility for all user groups and increasing safety would be imperative.
