Importance of the site

The Immadahalli main road is used by the locals frequently, The current situation is unorganized and lacks proper structure. Designing it will improve hygiene, safety, and accessibility, creating a better experience for both vendors and visitors. A well-planned market will boost local business, attract more customers, and foster a sense of pride and community in the neighborhood.

Proposed idea / vision:

My vision is to transform this space into a well-organized, thriving public market that benefits both vendors and the community. Instead of displacing existing vendors, designated vending zones would be created every 500 meters. These zones would include proper stalls and dedicated parking areas, ensuring vendors retain their business while reducing the current clutter and traffic caused by unregulated setups. This organized approach would also eliminate random roadside parking, freeing up space for clearly marked pedestrian footpaths. As a result, the area would become safer, more accessible, and visually appealing. People could walk, shop, and interact without stepping onto the road, creating a more vibrant and community-friendly environment. This redesign supports local livelihoods while improving order, accessibility, and overall quality of life in the neighbourhood.
