Please find below my proposal for the identified site- The site is about 100 m from a cross road and the bus stop is located at the cross road junction. This junction always has traffic congestion especially during peak hours. The bus stop bay may be located on the road side from this site so that it does not hinder the traffic on the main road. Also there is no open space in the adjoining neighbourhood which has mostly houses from the low middle and low income households. Also there is the ground adjacent to the site which has occasional melas which happen. Hence developing this site as a community space with a children play area which extends to the ground and buffer planting against the nala may improve the urban district. The site may also incorporate minimal infrastructure for seating and informal vending which can again extend to the ground... a temporal condition.. Adequate lighting and avenue tree planting would improve the quality of the street. Safe pedestrian infrastructure is a priority. Further, clearing the waste and improving the hygiene level of the street is a priority.
