1. The Upcoming suburban station will attract high footfall of commuters and there is a need to make this street safe for accessing the same. 2. The street is a long wide stretch along the railway line unsafe, neglected, posing an opportunity for unobstructed pedestrian and cyclist movement to the entire neighborhood, as an alternate spine to all the perpendicular streets of Kasturinagar. 3. Considering the high footfall of people, designated spaces for vending and other seasonal events/ festivals can be created along the street to improve the safety and liveliness.
