The spot had naturally evolved in a culinary hot spot - with a few cart vendors. Was possibly supporting a whole lot of informal vendors and entrepreneurs, with affordable prices. Was then cleared and all vending carts removed - it was secured with a compound, but nothing further. Some of the vendor have now spilled into the Puttenahalli Main Road footpaths, obstructing pedestrian movement. The original spot has now turned into a smokers spot. There is a great opportunity to recognize and formalise this spot into a food corner/hub - with some licensing framework and focus on waste management and hygiene , it can be a great showcase for a hyperlocal culinary experience street food court.
