Open house:
A showcase of over 180 citizen-nominated sites
Join Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) for a landmark two-day Open House showcasing our flagship program ‘Revitalising Bengaluru’s Public Spaces’ at Town Hall. This event is a first-of-its-kind initiative designed to reimagine our city’s streets as vibrant and shared community spaces. It is a showcase of over 180 citizen-nominated sites from across the city.
Small Fixes ~ Large Impact
What makes this program unique is that every proposal is rooted in real-life experiences, turning "missed opportunities" into small, thoughtful interventions that make a big difference on the ground. So far, the government has funded 25 of these sites, and GBA is launching the Open House as a collaborative platform for citizens, corporations, CSR partners, philanthropies, and professionals to improve the city's public realm.
Corporations
To discuss with citizens their local challeges in public spaces and evaluate projects for inclusion in the Corporation budgets for 2026.
CSR partners and philanthropies
To explore opportunities to support Design, implementation, or maintenance for community projects
Community engagement:
To share your ideas and proposals for the transformation of public spaces in your neighbourhoods with your Corporations and private funders.
Professional architects, urban designers and institutions
To identify projects that resonate with your practice to support the design development.
